Tideland
This is quite a disturbing film, but really does make one think about how twisted the human mind can become. Although I don't feel that the acting was up to par, the general story was enough to keep me gripped until the end, wanting to know how this story with so many tributaries could stream back into the one ocean.

When I read the synopsis of this film, I wasn't really expecting much, but this film is full of a lot of feeling and provides an amazing insight into human nature, and the lengths that we will go to just to survive. Totally took me by surprise to become one of the best films I have ever seen.

A Film With Me In It
This is one of the best Irish comedies I have seen in a long time. I had never seen Dylan Moran do stand up, but after watching this film I became a huge fan. The way the storyline resolves itself throughout the film is also quite intelligent.
